Organize at least two trips using these boats: One is to twice circle the cities of the Northern Sea, demonstrating quick and effective trade routes. The other must visit the Realm and there make known the fact of his invention without disclosing his secret. Later, it must return to Icehome with knowledge of the Realm's economy, Salt Rate, and floating fiat currency.

The Bronze Faction will give a dot of Backing if Maskelyne is on the trip to the Realm and stays there. They'll recall a dot of Backing if he goes on the Circling trip.
The Gold Faction will give a dot of Backing if Maskelyne is on the Circling trip and establishes continuing trade routes. They'll recall a dot of backing if he goes on the Realm trip.
Vanileth, Shogun of Artificial Flight, will grant a moderate favor if the Realm begins construction of airships on this model.
The Forbidding Manse, Subconvention on Unforseen Events, will grant a level 2 reward for an explanation of Maskelyne's unplanned invention. This has no deadline.
