Blossoming Lotus

Styles: 5 Celestial (all Immaculate, plus most Celestial Initiations) + 3 Siderial (Prismatic Arrangement of Creation, 2 others TBD).
Blossoming Lotus is a God of the Bureau of Heven, with responsibility for enlightening Martial Arts - that is, Martial Arts used as a tool for enlightenment. Before and during the Primordial war, he was a minor deity representing those few Mortals who saught wisdom and inner peace through physical training.
In the First Age, the blossoming of Supernatural Martial Arts brought him into being as a significant deity, due to the way in which all Martial Arts allow an Exalt to go beyond his natural limitations and perceive and control Essence in new ways. Still, this is only a small aspect of most Martial Afts Styles, mostly ignored by the Solars and Lunars, whose Martial Arts concentrated on effectiveness in Combat. Blossoming Lotus became involved, however, with with those Siderials who began to study the more esoteric heights which Siderial Martial Arts could reach. With the development of Prismatic Arrangement of Creation Style, with its aim of granting understanding of and control over the Essence of Creation, Blossoming Lotus sphere of influence (and therefore his personal power) increased significantly. Blossoming Lotus then aided those Siderials, Solars, and Lunars who experimented with ways of initiating the Dragon Blooded into Celestial Martial Arts during the High First Age.
Blossoming Lotus' greatest triumph came after the Usurpation, when he worked with Siderials to develop the Immaculate Dragon Styles, whose designed purpose is to increase the mastery of the Dragon Blooded beyond their natural abilities. Though the Immaculate Martial Artists may still not be able to hold a candle to the raw power of the First Age Solars, their numbers and widespread influence has helped Blossoming Lotus to become a powerful and influential God in the Bureau. However, he has plans to increase his influence further. He hopes to develop a method of initiating Dragon Blooded into Siderial Martial Arts, and to spread it among the Dragon Blooded as the greatest triumph in his sphere. He cannot do this, however, without the aid of a Siderial properly trained and dedicated to the task.
Blossoming Lotus made a request to his allies in the Bronze Faction, though he didn't share the full extent of his plans. He asked that that he be able to take the role of Sifu to a fledgeling Siderial Exalt who he could train in the Immaculate Martial Arts. They agreed, knowing that such a Siderial could help to increate the influence of the Immactulate Order in Creation, and waited for an auspicious candidate to present himself. Blossoming Lotus had naturally expected Fate to provide a Chosen of Battles (who could master the combat techniques involved) or of Secrets (who could aid in the development of another great secret Style). He was somewhat surprised when the destined candidate turned out to be Chosen by the Maiden of Endings, but began his training all the same.
Blossoming Lotus chose the name of the Siderial Twinkling Star of a Dragon's Eye (DragonStar) to reflect his growth out of the blood of the Dragons into the service of Heaven, and began his training with the Wood Dragon Style which seemed to best suit his Caste's natural tendencies toward the powers of life and death. He has shared the full extent of his goals with his student, who has embraced them as his own. Dragon Star greatly respects his Sifu and believes in the power of his vision to improve Creation. He believes the Dragon Blooded will need to be improved in order to be worthy to receive this gift, with some culling along the way if necessary.
Neither Blossoming Lotus nor Dragon Star yet has an inkling of why the Maiden of Endings chose to provide the candidate for this task.
