Rhodreamon Morinas

Chosen of Serenity

Concept: The person who chats at parties, wheedling individuals and sometimes messing with their heads. He will later also train towards sorcery and will be picking up many of the more useful utility spells.

Background: Morinas is origonally from one of the Patrician families of the Realm, below the Dynasts but still rather well off. His early life was relativly uneventful, but later he fell in love with a slave from a nearby Dynast plantation, Layla who eventually returned his feelings. One things led to another and after Mamiina's child was found to bear a strong resemblence to the young Patrician who was around so often the illicit relationship was discovered, Mamiina was sold off, and the baby was fostered off.

Morinas spent a year and a half trying to track down Layla, but life for Realm slaves - particularly difficult ones - is often short. When the sidereals came to take him to Yu-Shaun to await his nearing exaltation he was happy to be beginning a new life. He does keep tabs on Yun, his now grown son, however and nudges destiny to help him out when he can.

Motivation: Reform the guild. A well run guild could provide people with the recreational substances they want while still being careful to keep the customers healthy enough to provide a steady source of income. Oh, and this slavery thing - especially these dealing with the Fair Folk - really have to stop.

Intimacies: His friends. His son. The happiness of those around him.
